Egypt Project
This term we had to do another project, this time on the Olympic Games. Everyone got to decide what country they would like to work on.
I decided to do Egypt. What I have done is the flag (which is the main thing) and I did a model of the 3 pyramids in Egypt.
I enjoyed doing it but every time I was half way through the glue would get used up and that got on my nerves because everyday I had to buy more and more.
I think that it turned out great especially the model and the flag; I think that I did a good job in doing it.
Do you know any interesting facts on Egypt?
Have you done anything on Egypt and why?

Egypt is a very interesting country to study. Recently I saw a documentary on TV about the Valley of the Kings and how someone has digitally mapped out all of the known tombs. He said there were more to be discovered, too.

Hi Lilly

I loved your project and thought you worked really hard, and so it turned out beautiful. Good job.
Actually, no, I don’t know much facts about Egypt although all the time when I was in Year 1, 2, and Kindergarten, I used to search through the library of millions of books about Egypt, nosing my way through them all and sadly not learning a thing other than mummies’ tongues were cut out of their mouths, their religions, houses, a bit about their lifestyles of drawing on strips of tree bark. Most things I learned would frighten you so you best not ask!!!
Lovely Pictures….

Hi Lilly,
Thanks for the comment.
I really liked making the holiday projects they were fun. Yours was very nice. The material that you used to make the pyramids was cool. Also the sand around it was like tiny rocks. I think you did a great job. Hope to keep in touch!
